Coming to cinemas on the 24th of September, Sense & Sensibility is a new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s first ever novel by the same title. And we couldn’t resist partnering with Universal to create two limited-edition arrangements to celebrate the release.
Sense & Sensibility is a story of love, loss, and what it means to be a sister as much as it is an ode to the English countryside. It follows Elinor Dashwood (played by Daisy Edgar-Jones) and her younger sister Marianne (played by Esmé Creed-Miles) as they come of age and chart their paths through life, each guided by their own moral principles and different spirits -
We’ve captured the spirits of each sister, as well as the wild, untamed English countryside they call home in floral form.
Shoot location:
The story is set in rural Devonshire, where the film, too, was shot and pays homage to the English countryside. We shot our campaign in Hampshire, just a short walk across the fields away from Steventon, Austen’s birthplace and the place where she originally drafted the first version of what was later to become Sense & Sensibility.

The Design:
Throughout our campaign, we’ve used the different characters of the sisters as our guiding principle and translated those into all design elements.
The final arranging guide designs also tie in key visual moments for each sister, as well as the art of letter writing.
These limited-edition arrangements are available from the 21st of September, so get your favourite delivered in your next box or send it to a loved one to celebrate.
We caught up with Natalia Bagniewska on all things art, inspiration, and what the new season means to her.
Gladioli are adored for good reason – not just by us, but by pollinating butterflies and bees. Be it their rich history, tall sword-like stems or 360 trumpet flowers, they keep our gardens humming and our planet spinning, so let’s work with nature to make them last longer at home.
