Certified B Corp

Over the last few years, we’ve put a huge amount of time and effort into ensuring that our flowers are sourced and delivered as sustainably as possible. That’s why we are so proud to have achieved our B Corp certification.

To become a certified B Corp, a company has to go through a rigorous assessment process that evaluates its overall social and environmental performance. Achieving B Corp certification demonstrates a company's commitment to using business as a force for good, beyond just profit maximisation.

Grow-to-order

By focusing on a flower subscription model, we know exactly how many stems we’ll need (or pretty close!). So we can work with our growers on a “grow-to-order” basis meaning we only order what we need, minimising floral waste.

This year we're targeting less than 5% waste, vs an industry average of up to a whopping 40%! Anything that does go to waste, we compost back into plant food.

Flower sourcing

We are proud members of the FSI – the industry’s leading international body on driving sustainability in floriculture. One of the key commitments to being a member of the FSI is a commitment to ensure 90% of flowers are responsibly sourced by 2025.

Sustainable packaging

100% of our standard customer packaging is recyclable or biodegradable. Furthermore, last year, thanks to customers returning their boxes at their next delivery, we re-used 226,000 boxes! We’re rolling out the box-collection service to even more customers this year.

Deliveries

We maximise our emissions-free deliveries by using electric bikes and electric vans wherever possible. We also partner with DPD and Abel and Cole who are both certified carbon neutral couriers.
